Malone Lodge Hotel was opened in 1991 by Brian and Mary Macklin whom constructed the first-ever purpose-built small guesthouse in that area. But it had no bar licence when it first opened because that was difficult with how Northern Ireland was in 1991. Now is runned by their son Gareth MacKlin.

Set in the quiet, tree lined avenues of the Queens University Quarter of South Belfast, Malone Lodge is located just off the exclusive Malone Road & fashionable Lisburn Road and 10 min from the Botanic Gardens. After a recent extension the hotel now boasts 102 bedrooms and apartments, as well as a 240 seater event and conference room. Free parking and Wifi are available throughout the property. The main hotel is home to our stunning 240 seater Ball Room, 130 seater Ceremony Room, an Executive wing of bedrooms and 2 presidential suites as well as The Knife and Fork Restaurant and Macklin’s Bar.
